The Sun's radiation is very harmful to water molecules,and means objects
in the Oort cloud will have more water than those in the kuipler belt.
3.7 billion years ago Tempel1 was a ice surface comet. Now we see it as
a comet with a dusty crater surface. The motion through the solar
system,and its closeness to the Sun evolved it into what we see today.
Reality is if it did not get this thick crust it would never have been
around this long. Bert
