I'd rather go around and make it look like I was changing the bulbs and but
about .25oz of C4 in each one. Then come evening and BANG their all gone.


If these lights were all on the same timer circuit, it would be
terrible if one of the fixtures developed a short circuit, let's say
from a light bulb with a defective base, or from a tiny piece of stray
metal in the socket. The circuit breaker might trip when the lights
came on and someone would have to go around and individually check
each fixture. What a chore that would be!

It might work even better if the *fixture* developed the short,
however, preferably in some invisible internal manner. Perhaps with
an obviously visibly "defective" decoy bulb in another fixture that's
likely to be found first. That should keep 'em barking up the wrong
light pole for a while!
