That's definitely a problematic consideration, although the likes of Fred and other Oligarch Rothschilds have many failsafe options that the rest of us simply don't have. Exactly how much tonnage of spent regular and otherwise new or spent MOX fuel was within those cooling ponds? Fortunately, most of those really bad elements are sufficiently heavy, in that they'll end up on the ocean floor, and the vast bulk of that nasty stuff will not get consumed by anything that'll directly or indirectly end up in our food-chain. So the risk is still there but at least it'll be considerably less risky for us Americans and otherwise not so failsafe for those existing and future generations of citizens in Japan. http://groups.google.com/groups/search http://translate.google.com/# Brad Guth, Brad_Guth, Brad.Guth, BradGuth, BG / “Guth Usenet” |
