Default Progress fails to dock with ISS

Yeah. I think that's one of those statements that is obvious and wrong and
right at the same time.

It's not "wrong": it's simply the Russia version of "truth".
As the writers of Pravda would reassure us, "Truth" is very flexible and
can change day-to-day, year-to-year, and decade-to-decade.
In the West, the same concept works in a more subtle way, which is why
so many TV channels are so hung up this weekend on WW II war movies,
considering the two dates you would expect that to occur on would be on
Veteran's and Memorial Day.
I'd write more, but right now I'm watching Michael Caine get the hots
for Michelle Johnson in "Blame It On Rio"...which makes two of us. ;-)

Google News now let's you add your own sections, so I put in a "Space"
section, and this story was right there at the top.

You do realize that Google is going to use that data on what you are
interested in to better target you for advertising, don't you?

Your point?

Your point?

Make sure you know what a "convenience" is going to do before you sign
onto it.

Progress is great, but really need to keep shuttle a bit longer and get the
ATV to be flying on a more regular basis.

(I see the next one is scheduled for November and is named Johannes Kepler).

And HTV-2 is expected in early January. Plus we might get a Dragon in
there somewhere.

FYI... ATV-3 is named Edoardo Amaldi.

The real question is where is Jim Oberg.

If I see ads for high precision gyros instead of feminine hygiene
products, I don't immediately see it as an example of corporate
oppression.

Not doing articles? The ones I see in a quick search are as old as
his MSNBC articles.

I'm still trying to figure out how I ended up on the mailing list for
Longsun Alloys out of China, who were eager to sell me windings for my
hydroelectric dam dynamos. :-D

Good point about HTV. I was thinking it was further out.

Either way though, if you miss one flight, you have a definite impact on
near term logisitics.

Yeah, saw that.
