Default Captain Dave Saves the World Again!

NASA tweaks killer asteroid's trajectory of death!

"NASA has recalculated the trajectory of asteroid Apophis and
concluded that Bruce Willis can stand down from a state of doom-body-
busting readiness.
.......

Chesley said: "Updated computational techniques and newly available
data indicate the probability of an Earth encounter on April 13, 2036,
for Apophis has dropped from one-in-45,000 to about four-in-a
million."

The pair got the majority of their new data from Dave Tholen and chums
at the University of Hawaii's Institute for Astronomy in Manoa. Tholen
scanned "hundreds of previously unreleased images of the night sky"
captured by the observatory's 88-inch telescope and made "improved
measurements of the asteroid's position in the images"."

What does that have to do with OS/2, Double-A?

607 Where'd you go?

What does your question have to do with OS/2, Double-A?

607 Heard you were in jail,

What does your gullibility have to do with OS/2, Double-A?

607 then you were back for a day. Violate the conditions of your
607 bail release already?

What does your classic erroneous presupposition of a question have
to do with OS/2, Double-A?

Classic erroneous presupposition.

1 have to do with classical music, tholen?

Take it up with Double-A, Androcles, given that he/she/it chose the
newsgroup distribution.

I don't know, but a little more publicity about your astronomy
exploits can't hurt your career or your book sales!

Classic erroneous presupposition.

611 What an ego!

Illogical, given that facts have nothing to do with ego,
Double-A.

611 At least you answered honestly.

Classic erroneous presupposition.

One rogue encounter, and all bets are off.

If Apophis encounters so much as a bowling ball, the trajectory could
shift, and Apophis might just as easily nail us.
