Normally when there's a software fault Microsoft is to blame. But I
guess this time it's some one else.

Flash may not be as reliable as EPROMs. But then again EPROMs left
unprotected were suspect as well.

I do both software and hardware and feel that I can pick on both with
equal zeal, depending on the situation of course.
