How would you capture this event on a webcam? I was thinking of having
a go but I would imagine it's going to be tricky to set the levels such that you pick up the star but don't massively overexpose the planet & rings. I have managed to take pictures of the moons before but I did that by manually 'deleting' the planet and popping in a properly exposed shot taken a few minutes later. Any tips or suggestions? Actually the surface brightness of the planet and the brightness of the star are not too different in this case. It is relatively easy to expose for the Planet and Titan for example which is a similar magnitude to the star. Robin |
