I have not seen it on sale yet in any WHSmith store.

Maybe I should add that I subscribe?

I'm in a bit of a quandry about subscribing. For whatever reason,
S&T is almost unique in american astro products as being cheaper in
the UK than it is in the US (5.99 USD cf 2.95 UKP).
However, for the 3 year subscription rate you end up paying 50%
more than the 'merkins for it. I'm assuming that's the overhead of
delivering single copies by post rather than bulk transporting a
whole consignment.

Have you looked at some of the discount subscription 'offers' from third
party companies?. While some will not send to Europe, some will. The
'published' subscription rates for magazines, tend to be generated bout
once per year, and if you look back, the dollaround exchange rate, was
worse a while ago, at about the time when the current S&T pricing was set.
At the three year rate, direct from S&T, you currently pay $159.95.
£90.53. £2.52/copy. Still cheaper than from the Newsagent. Some of the
discount companies will reduce this by up to about 25% (though generally,
you will get the magazine 'later' than with a direct subscription).

Best Wishes
