Okay... I'm not sure where you are going precisely, but from Nairobi, Kenya
for example, Eta Carina Crux and Omega are all visible in the evening sky
(at least until 23:00), and 47 Tuc and the SMC will be visible from about
1:30 until dawn. So the only one you'll miss because of the sun is the LMC.
