But, back to my point. At first I had thought that I wanted to draw
the constellations into my Star Atlas 2000 (I have the deluxe laminated version (black on white)).. I now think that I'm going to hold off on that for a bit, but I am wondering what would be a good marker to temporarily write on the maps with (something that will wash/rub off). Things like comets that I might want to mark on the map for a few nights but then get rid of. I know I could just experiment, and I probably will with any ideas you give me, but I thought I'd ask if you have any suggestions/experience. Mark Dull black crayons or, failing that......lipstick. |

I use Staedtler Lumocolor 315 pens (fine and medium).
WARNING they come in permanent and non-permanent versions! Be sure to get the latter. The only difference between the two is the lettering along the side of the pen. They don't rub off easily but will come off with an eraser or 'baby-wipes' (tissues damped with alcohol) I've used them for layouts for custom paint jobs on many different plastics and acrylic surfaces, but test on a non-critical area first. Available from most arts and craft shops here (UK) Denis -- DT Replace nospam with the antithesis of hills |

![]() "Matt T" wrote in message ... I wonder if overhead transparency pens would work? Yes. The fine, permanent kind work well. I buy boxes of ispropyl alcohol impregregnated 'pre-injection swabs', and use these as erasers when needed. Best Wishes |
