And they taste like turkey. http://www.ky3.com/news/local/raw-vi...48998_25627708 Even if you hit one without meaning to do so, the courts (and public opinion) might assume you did it on purpose. Thought crimes are becoming more popular. |

I don't condone such "hunting." However, one would think it was the only lion ever hunted and shot in Zimbabwe. If fact, scores of lions are hunted/poached there each year. This lion just happened to be considered "famous" by those within a small in-group. It turns out most Zimbabweans had never even heard of Cecil the Lion. They are too busy dealing with the problems brought about by marxism/socialism to worry about a dead lion. |

True, but round here pheasants are the most common suicidal bird. Geese are inclined to threaten cyclists unless they are asleep. Canada geese are becoming something of a nuisance in the UK. In the UK the owner of the vehicle that kills the creature is *not* entitled to take it. The next person past is as road kill. It is still a treasonable offence to take a swan here and theoretically you can be sent to the Antipodes for poaching a rabbit after dark. (I don't think that ancient law has been repealed yet) Doubtful if the Ozzies would let a convicted criminal in these days. -- Regards, Martin Brown |
