Default Light Speed Limit

Anyyhing in this unique and sole universe, even an imagined God, must
obey the universal light speed limit, c = 3 E8 m/sec .

The energy of any mass m travelling at speed v, is confirmed to be
m c^2 / SqrRoot [ 1 - ( v^2 / c ^2 ) ] , which clearly goes to
infinity as v approaches c , which is to say, that
no mass ever attains v = c or likely anything very near c .

Keeping in mind :

( 1 ) the simple relationship between distance d, speed v, and time t
( i.e. d = v x t ), and

( 2 ) the very vast distances betwee stars, galaxies, and most
astronomical entities, then any travels between entities would tale
prohibitively excessive times.

This is all the reason why, although we are likely not the only
intelligent space faring species, we have yet to be visited by any.

Speculation about so called worm holes, is just plain fantasy. No such
breach in the infinite space-time continuum is possibly, and none has
ever been detected.
