It's Ares. As in the Greek god of war. Not Aries as in the Ram.

(though Griffin is trying to ram it down people's throat.)


And I'd treat any payload to LEO estimates on it with a great deal of
skepticism, as NASA hasn't even completely finalized its design yet, so
its actual weight at launch is a unknown quantity.
