It was mentioned today in the news that the Mars landing site had a
Mesa in the background. I suppose the probe is not able to mobilize itself to this rock strata. It maybe ideal for looking for a coal seam on Mars. News also mentioned that the surface was tacky and left imprints of the airbag and that there was black minerals in the imprints. Perhaps those black minerals are coal granules. What would happen to a tree trunk if uprooted on Earth and spaceshipped to the Martian surface? Would it slowly rot and decay physically? What are the chances that if Earth were Mars and a probe landed on Earth, what are the probability chances of running into a coal seam or evidence of coal? I say small chance and that it would take a living explorer and not a probe to find coal on Earth. If coal is found on Mars and if no coal exists on the Moon, then I will have to come up with a CellWell explanation for that. Something like this--. That Mars was with Earth in CellWell1 but the Moon was in CellWell2 and the Moon was 1/2 as old as Earth. And so the Moon was some satellite of the gas giants and escaped the gas giants and collided with Earth between 5 and 2 billion years ago. If coal is found on Mars, then I will have to introduce a whole new kinematics theory of planetory orbits where Europa is like a protoEarth and where Pluto is like a protoMars. The tough thing about this kinematics is to explain why and how the **gas giants** move into erratic and aberrant motions to where they eventually coalesce and collide several gas giants to form a new star or add on to the Sun, but why the satellites of these gas giants seem to wander and escape the collisions? Is there a physicist out there who can answer in a nice way as to why satellites would have a tendency to wander and escape a swallowing up of their gas giant parents? My intuition would tell me that if you had big balls and little marbles going around the big balls and if the big balls come together in one place (swallowing up) that the marbles should also be swallowed up and not escape the swallowing. Perhaps there is some tendency that I am forgetting about. Perhaps the behaviour of Pluto as it seems to be escaping from the errant wandering of Neptune, lies the answer.
