Did man REALLY walk on the MOON? Or was it an elaborate HOAX?

Was the Apollo program staged to dupe the people of the world into
turning a blind eye to the funding of NASA while they steadfastly
marched toward their REAL goal, BUILDING THE SPACE ARK - "Weapon of
mass (nuclear weapon onspace) destruction on Space"

Ok. A lot of fuss has been made over "conspiracy theories", I stress
the word "theories", one particularly squeaky wheel keeps demanding
oil and says that conspiracy can't exist.


How do we prove that a conspiracy has been perpetrated?. Impossible to
prove, maybe, but one step toward proving that a conspiracy to fool
the masses has occurred is to consider the claims of the perpetrator,
and then look at the circumstances surrounding the possible ruse.


The US claim of putting men on the Moon - the so called Manned Lunar
Landings - the squeaky wheel seems to squeal pretty loudly about this
one, so let's have a look at it.


The time: 1963-1972 (funny how it slots in so nicely to the time of
the Vietnam war, a time when the US was spending a lot of dollars, and
the public were so focused on the war, and just to keep attention more
focused the US was "under attack" from within, with serious
demonstrations and civil unrest screaming out of the media)

World situation:

Cold War - Indo-China exploding - Communist insurgencies world wide.


Events:


US President John Fitzgerald Kennedy murdered.

Coup attempt in India put down on the same day.

Soviets secure leases for military bases and access to ports in India,
under
Presidential grant by Nehru.

US under threat in the Indian Ocean and Persian Gulf regions

Pro-Western governments under attack in South Africa and Argentina, by
rebels armed and trained by Soviets.

Confrontation with the Soviets over Cuba , and a "hostile" government
right
on the doorstep.

US openly enters war in Vietnam.

The Space Race:

Soviets a long way ahead in the "Space Race" they had much greater
lifting power (thrust) generated from the rocket engines they had
developed - capable of lifting payloads far in excess of what the US
had been able to - PLUS they had already made dramatic advances in
orbit and accuracy - the Moon was easily in their reach.


For the US the situation was very grim, they were at the very
threshold of WWIII, suddenly a door opened, the Soviets withdrew from
the "race to the Moon". THEIR REASON BEING THAT THEIR TESTS WITH
ANIMALS IN SPACE HAD PROVEN IT TO BE TOO DEADLY AN ENVIRONMENT FOR
HUMANS OUTSIDE THE VAN ALLEN BELT.


The US magically gained the upper hand and "put men on the moon",
national pride soared, the rest of the world looked on in total
amazement, what a fantastic achievement. Speaking for myself, I was
totally enthralled, having stood wide eyed and watched the very first
"Sputnik", dogs and chimps in orbit, then Yuri Gagarin supposedly
orbiting in the night sky, and now to witness mans first step on the
Moon, bloody fantastic.

It has just been announced that Gagarin was not the first man in space

THREE SOVIET COSMONAUTS HAD DIED DURING MISSIONS WHERE THEY HAD BEEN
BLASTED INTO SPACE DURING NON-ORBITTAL TESTS - MORE FUEL ON THE FIRE -
AND A GOOD REASON FOR THE SOVIETS TO DISCONTINUE THEIR EFFORTS TO PUT
MEN ON THE MOON - HERE IN ITSELF IS A CONSPIRACY - PERPETRATED BY THE
SOVIETS TO HIDE THE FACT THAT THEY HAD CRISPED THREE OF THEIR MEN -
Alexis Ledovsky, Serentyi Shiborin and Andrei Mitkov - THE REVELATION

Then as the years passed, I started to hear little murmurs that all
was not as it seemed, some people were pointing out little anomalies
in the information that was surfacing, nah, thought I, the US
Government would not lie about this thing, they couldn't, it would be
impossible to "fake it".


But the stories kept getting stronger, and seemed a bit more
plausible.

The thought "where there is smoke" prompted a closer look at the whole
affair.

Not really worried about the whole thing, like really, who gives a
damn, I embarked on a research program to look at the effect of the
solar activity on my radio signals, then I became aware of solar
flares, what they are, how they occur, and what effect they had on our
planet, then the words uttered by the Soviets in the early '60s came
rushing back - too dangerous for humans outside the VAB, dang, what
the hell is going on.


So a little research into solar flares seemed in order, how many
flares and on what dates did they occur in relation to the Apollo
manned missions, what was the view of scientists (not just the people
at JPL/NASA) on solar flares, how much did the US know about solar
flares at the time.


Well it seems that very little was known, until well after the Apollo
program finished in 1972.


Then I found another funny thing, there were no comprehensive records
of solar flare activity, dates nor magnitude (class), prior to 1974,
two years after the Apollo program ended, there were H alpha readings
and the data from Explorer, the scientific community knew about solar
flares and sunspots for a long time, BUT THE INFORMATION AVAILABLE AT
THE TIME WOULD NOT HAVE PROVIDED THE GRUMMAN CORP. WITH INFORMATION
THAT WOULD HAVE SEEN THEM
CONSTRUCT THE LM WITH A SUFFICIENT RADIATION SHIELD TO PREVENT THE
DEATHS OF THE ASTRONAUTS IN THE HIGH RADIATION ENVIRONMENT OUTSIDE THE
VAN ALLEN BELTS.

Seems pretty reasonable to think that the "manned moon missions" might
have been faked, the possibility of a conspiracy for sure, some things
just did not seem to fit the picture.


Here is a little info., some of it from an old Russian scientific
paper I think, pretty hard to remember where everything comes from.

Sorry about the length of the material but sometimes it takes a lot of
oil
to quiet a squeaky wheel.

Remember this though, it does not prove a conspiracy, it only points
out the reasons why it would have been in the US interest to have
people believe that they went to the moon, and it was a good way to
ensure funding for the ISS, which was actually planned before Kennedys
murder.

First a brief outline of solar flares, or rather the incredible level
of radiation that exists outside the Van Allen Belts.


Solar flares are phenomena of very fast magnetic energy release
converted to solar plasma heat and particle acceleration. Usually
solar flares are observed inside active magnetic regions between the
upper chromo-sphere and the lower corona (erupting from the solar
surface) The duration of solar flares last from seconds up to hours.
THE ENERGY RELEASED IN A TYPICAL FLARE IS VERY GREAT (up to 10^32 erg)
- MORE THAN ALL OF THE ENERGY PRODUCED BY THE ENTIRE HISTORY OF OUR
CIVILIZATION. A small part of this energy reaches the Earth,
influences the magnetosphere and ionosphere and as a result influences
many aspects of our lives on Earth. For example, disturbances of
communication and electronic systems, navigation, people's health and
satellite life-span.


Here is an account of just one period of solar flare activity and it's
effects.

""The next 14 days produced 11 "X class" flares (the largest category
in X-ray emission) and 48 "M class" (still very large flares).
However, the most outstanding feature of the interval occurred on
March 13-14 with one of the largest geomagnetic storms in the last 50
years. This storm had an amazing list of effects on earth and in
space. Power systems in Canada and Sweden failed as large electric
currents were induced in power lines and tripped protective relays.
Increased atmospheric drag, resulting from the expansion of the
earth's outer atmosphere during the disturbance, altered the orbits of
many satellites with the result that NASA lost track of some of them
for a short period. Satellite navigation systems failed to operate and
High Frequency (HF) communication systems were also out of action. ""

""October 1989 was another interesting interval with a large proton
event as a result of solar flares. These are periods of increased flux
of charged particles from the sun AND THEY COULD HAVE DRASTIC
CONSEQUENCES FOR ASTRONAUTS AWAY FROM THE PROTECTIVE COVERING OF THE
EARTH'S ATMOSPHERE.

After October 1989 there was much speculation about the effects of a
similar event during a manned mission to Mars and this has resulted in

Satellites often operate in the space environment for many years. As a
result, they can sustain long-term exposure effects in addition to
special "storm-time" problems. Depending upon their altitude,
satellite electronic components, solar cells, and materials degrade
from the accumulated radiation dose caused by repeated traversals of
the Van Allen radiation belts. Similarly, THE BOMBARDMENT BY ATOMS IN
THE THIN UPPER ATMOSPHERE CAN ALTER ORBITS AND WEAR SURFACES AWAY.
Some materials become brittle from long-term exposure to solar
ultraviolet light above the protective absorbing atmosphere. SINGLE
PENETRATING COSMIC RAYS CAN CHANGE THE STATE IN ELECTRONICS COMPONENTS
SUCH AS SPACECRAFT MEMORY CHIPS.


SPACE WEATHER "STORMS" ADD NEW PROBLEMS WHILE EXACERBATING THE ABOVE
CUMULATIVE EFFECTS. Some satellites charge up when they are suddenly
immersed in enhanced radiation environments in the Van Allen belts,
the
auroral zone, or interplanetary space. DIELECTRIC SURFACES CAN CHARGE
TO
VERY HIGH POTENTIAL COMPARED TO THE METALLIC SURFACES OF THE
SATELLITE,
LEADING TO DISCHARGES BETWEEN THE TWO. SUCH DISCHARGES CAUSE BOTH
MATERIAL DAMAGE AND ELECTRICAL TRANSIENTS ON THE SPACECRAFT.


ELECTRICAL TRANSIENTS FROM SURFACE DISCHARGING, OR FROM INTERNAL
CHARGING (CAUSED BY THE ABOVE-MENTIONED ENERGETIC ELECTRONS PRODUCING
CHARGES DEEP INSIDE ELECTRONICS COMPONENTS), CAN MASQUERADE AS
"PHANTOM COMMANDS" APPEARING TO SPACECRAFT SYSTEMS AS DIRECTIONS FROM
THE GROUND. THESE EVENTS CAN CAUSE LOSS OF CONTROL OF INSTRUMENTS AND
POWER OR PROPULSION SYSTEMS.

Electrical transients often occur in the local time period between
midnight
and dawn following what appears to be an injection of electrons toward
Earth
from the magnetotail during geomagnetic disturbances.


The ionospheric changes that occur during disturbed times also
increase the incidence of electron density irregularities, leading to
sometimes severe variations or scintillations in the phase strength of
signals sent from the ground to satellites at VHF and UHF frequencies
(30 megahertz to 3 gigahertz). (it's interesting to remember this
fact)

Finally, solar radio bursts can directly interfere with communications
in the frequency range between 245 MHz and 2.7 GHz, which is widely
used. In summary, space weather-related disruptions to communication
systems have wide-ranging effects-from social interactions to economic
transactions on a global level to intelligence and surveillance
activities.

The principal space weather hazard to humans is radiation exposure to
astronauts and passengers in high-altitude aircraft. Although the
residual atmosphere above an aircraft provides a measure of protection
from cosmic rays and solar energetic particles that enter the
magnetosphere, there is still concern for flights on polar routes
during major solar particle events. The primary means of reducing this
hazard is to modify flight paths as necessary and to limit the flight
time of personnel on high-altitude aircraft like the supersonic
transport. It is clear that in this case early warnings of solar
energetic particles are extremely desirable. While flares can be
monitored at least on the visible disk of the Sun, solar indications
of the shock-producing fast coronal mass ejections toward Earth are
less apparent.

S 5 Extreme

Biological: unavoidable high radiation hazard to astronauts on EVA
(extra-vehicular activity); high radiation exposure to passengers and
crew in commercial jets at high latitudes (approximately 100 chest x-
rays) is possible.

Satellite operations: satellites may be rendered useless, memory
impacts can cause loss of control, may cause serious noise in image
data, star-trackers may be unable to locate sources; permanent damage
to solar panels possible.

Other systems: complete blackout of HF (high frequency) communications
possible through the polar regions, and position errors make
navigation operations extremely difficult.

S 4 Severe

Biological: unavoidable radiation hazard to astronauts on EVA;
elevated radiation exposure to passengers and crew in commercial jets
at high latitudes (approximately 10 chest x-rays) is possible.


Satellite operations: may experience memory device problems and noise
on imaging systems; star-tracker problems may cause orientation
problems, and solar panel efficiency can be degraded.


Other systems: blackout of HF radio communications through the polar
regions and increased navigation errors over several days are likely.


S 3 Strong

Biological: radiation hazard avoidance recommended for astronauts on
EVA; passengers and crew in commercial jets at high latitudes may
receive low-level radiation exposure (approximately 1 chest x-ray).


Satellite operations: single-event upsets, noise in imaging systems,
and slight reduction of efficiency in solar panel are likely.

Other systems: degraded HF radio propagation through the polar regions
and navigation position errors likely.

(The above conditions apply to the region INSIDE the protection of the
Earths' atmosphere - NOT TO THE LUNAR SURFACE WHERE THE EFFECTS WOULD
BE INTENSIFIED DUE TO THE ABSENCE OF A PROTECTIVE SHIELD SUCH AS THE
EARTHS
ATMOSPHERE - in short, a VERY HOSTILE environment for carbon based
life forms)

"Class X flares are also more likely to be associated with a host of
interesting effects here on earth and in space. It is the Class X
flares which of greatest interest to those affected by the sun. "


"The table lists, in order of importance defined by X-Ray class, the
most significant solar flares since 1976 at which time regular X-Ray
data first became available. The list includes all flares for which
the X-Ray class was equal to, or above, X9.0 (the list is complete up
to March 2000). All of these flares had the most dramatic effects on
HF communications and other systems."

(IMPORTANT - note in the preamble to this list - the specifici

to WHEN X-ray data first became available. 1976 - four years AFTER the
completion of the Apollo program - so how could the Grumman Corp.
provide
shielding in the LM and CSM to protect against the intensity that
might be
encountered - the old H-Alpha readings could not give any measure of x-
ray
intensity beyond the Earths atmosphere.) The above info. from the

Potential hazards from the high-altitude electrical discharges called
sprites and jets are unknown. Since they seem to occur between the
cloud tops at around 15-km altitude and at the base of the ionosphere
near 100-km altitude, interest in their effects will depend on the
future use of this region of Earth-space.

Astronaut radiation exposure is a major concern of our manned space
flight program. Most manned missions occur in orbits that are below
the regions where the Van Allen belt radiation is most intense.

Extravehicular activities (EVAs) in the region of anomalously high
radiation
over the South Atlantic are also avoided.

The "danger zone" for spacecraft is in the region of the South
Atlantic, where the energetic particle populations in the radiation
belts are found at unusually low altitudes due to a local weakness in
Earth's magnetic field. This chart shows the region as mapped by
registering the times when communications are lost, or computer
glitches occur with orbitting satellites.


For missions that leave low-Earth orbit, like the Apollo missions to
the moon, the ability to rapidly traverse the radiation belts and to
predict the occurrence of solar energetic particle events is
essential. (but apparently was not available between 1963/1972)


WHILE ENVISIONED MANNED MODULES FOR FUTURE MISSIONS TO MARS ARE
GENERALLY EQUIPPED WITH SHIELDED ASTRONAUT SHELTERS, ADEQUATE WARNING
IS NECESSARY FOR THESE TO BE USEFUL.


AN ASTRONAUT ON THE LUNAR SURFACE WOULD BE IN DANGER OF A LETHAL DOSE
OF RADIATION FROM SOLAR ENERGETIC PARTICLES WERE A MAJOR CORONAL MASS
EJECTION TO OCCUR UNNOTICED


The time frame of the "manned" lunar missions was right smack in the
middle of a solar maximum, a period of high solar activity when it
would have been most likely to see solar flares of high magnitude
erupting from the Sun, the Soviets knew of the danger, but desperate
for some sort of tactical advantage the US went ahead with the
charade, here are the sunspot figures (smoothed) for the period of the
Apollo program when men were supposedly "walking around" in the
microwave oven on the Lunar surface, now of course we see that for
humans to survive in the environment outside the VAB, they need
specially shielded Astronaut shelters - but these were not available
for the Apollo missions, but amazingly no crispy critters.

There was a pronounced incline in the intensity of the solar cycle
sunspot numbers since 1900, (this could well be confirmed in the paper
to "Nature" that shows the doubling of the solar coronal mass during

then suddenly we see a marked reduction in intensity for cycle No.20,
did NASA know that the cycle would be less intense or were the figures
doctored to make the cycle seem less severe and thus defeat the
argument that it was dangerous? - one thing is for sure - from the
incline trend of the previous 60 years (6 solar cycles) - NO-ONE COULD
HAVE PREDICTED THE REDUCED INTENSITY OF CYCLE 20 - but even during
this "reduced" cycle the solar flare and CME activity was still quite
high and totally unpredictable - in fact the Apollo 11 mission fell
right in the highest period of activity at a solar maximum - not a
solar minimum!!!!!!!!!!


The following chart shows this incline trend clearly - maybe we should
ask NASA why it is that even today we do not see accurate predictions
for the duration or intensity of the solar cycle - anyone who has
watched will be well aware of how many "educated guesses" we have seen
from the various bodies who make predictions - they obviously do not
have access to the "crystal ball" that was used by NASA when they
decided that cycle 20 would be the one best suited to run the Apollo
program .

Well after the Apollo missions there was still MAJOR concern for the
pilots, crew and passengers of HIGH FLYING AIRCRAFT - imagine how much
stronger the radiation is outside the VAB - and then think about why
the US has not constructed a space station on the Moon, after all the
moon does not have a decaying orbit, nor is it knocked out of it's
orbit by solar storms like the Mir or ISS or the satellites that all
need constant attention to orbit maintenance,


It's because of the potential danger from solar coronal mass ejection,
which cannot be accurately predicted even today let alone during the
period of the Apollo missions.


Here is an extract from a description of the Lunar Landing Module,
published
by NASA.


At sea level, the Earth's atmosphere is a mixture of gases - primarily
of nitrogen (78% by volume), oxygen (21%), water vapor (varying
amounts depending on temperature and humidity), and traces of carbon
dioxide and other gases. Oxygen is, by far, the most important
component of what we breathe and, indeed, the Apollo astronauts
breathed almost pure oxygen laced with controlled amounts of water
vapor. With the nitrogen eliminated, the cabin pressure could be
considerably less than sea-level pressure on Earth - about 4.8 psi
(pounds per square inch) versus 14.7 psi - and, CONSEQUENTLY, THE
CABIN WALLS COULD BE RELATIVELY THIN AND, THEREFORE, LIGHT IN WEIGHT.


Neither the LM or the CSM had "safe" enclosures for the crews to
migrate to in the event of a solar event, yet at the very height of a
solar cycle, when there was even less ability to predict or measure
the intensity of solar activity, a whole series of "manned" lunar
missions took place

Below are some extracts from an article by Dr. Tony Phillips, that
falls back on Moon rocks as the "undeniable proof" that NASA put men
on the Moon in 1969. Yet we know full well that numerous UNMANNED
PROBES collected various samples from the Lunar surface - so it would
not be unreasonable to expect REAL Moon rocks to have been examined by
various laboratories. The article was used as a retort to the airing
of a tv show.


Some extracts from the attempted debunking of the suggestion that the
Apollo
missions were set-up and filmed in a studio.


ALL THE BUZZ ABOUT THE MOON BEGAN ON FEBRUARY 15TH when Fox television
aired a program called Conspiracy Theory: Did We Land on the Moon?

WRONG - THE CONTROVERSY HAS BEEN GOING ON FOR A LONG TIME (KDP)

Guests on the show argued that NASA technology in the 1960's wasn't up
to the task of a real Moon landing. Instead, anxious to win the Space
Race any way it could, NASA acted out the Apollo program in movie
studios. Neil Armstrong's historic first steps on another world, the
rollicking Moon Buggy rides, even Al Shepard's arcing golf shot over
Fra Mauro-- it was all a fake! FORTUNATELY THE SOVIETS DIDN'T THINK OF
THE GAG FIRST. THEY COULD HAVE FILMED THEIR OWN FAKE MOON LANDINGS AND
REALLY EMBARRASSED THE FREE WORLD. (well at least this part is true,
but as the Soviets were far in advance of the US they had no need to
fake it did they KDP.)


Just as meteoroids constantly bombard the Moon so do COSMIC RAYS, and
they
leave their fingerprints on Moon rocks, too.


"THERE ARE ISOTOPES IN MOON ROCKS, ISOTOPES WE DON'T NORMALLY FIND ON
EARTH, THAT WERE CREATED BY NUCLEAR REACTIONS WITH THE HIGHEST-ENERGY
COSMIC RAYS," says McKay.


EARTH IS SPARED FROM SUCH RADIATION BY OUR PROTECTIVE ATMOSPHERE AND
MAGNETOSPHERE. (Here we see another admission that there are indeed
high
levels of radiation on the Lunar surface, radiation strong enough to
fingerprint solid rock - how about flesh and blood KDP)


Even if scientists wanted to make something like a Moon rock by, say,
bombarding an Earth rock with high energy atomic nuclei, they
couldn't. EARTH'S MOST POWERFUL PARTICLE ACCELERATORS CAN'T ENERGIZE
PARTICLES TO MATCH THE MOST POTENT COSMIC RAYS, WHICH ARE THEMSELVES
ACCELERATED IN SUPERNOVA BLASTWAVES AND IN THE VIOLENT CORES OF
GALAXIES. (And without an atmosphere the Lunar surface is directly
exposed to the full blast. KDP)


Indeed, says McKay, faking a Moon rock well enough to hoodwink an
international army of scientists might be more difficult than the
Manhattan Project. "It would be easier to just go to the Moon and get
one," he quipped.(Why would they need to "fake" moon rocks - they had
plenty from robot probes. KDP)

Another common argument put up in defence of the missions is this
gem:-


"For instance, Russia, China, East Germany and other cold-war enemies
of the USA closely monitored the lunar missions. It was easy to tell
whether the Apollo radio signals were coming from the direction of the
Moon, and whether the time delays in conversation matched the distance
the signals had to travel. If anything had seemed wrong, surely these
unfriendly countries would have loudly shouted to the world that the
USA was pulling a hoax! Yet none of them ever questioned NASA's
accomplishment. When even your enemy gives you credit for something,
it's pretty convincing!"

As any person familiar with radio and the use of signal repeaters
knows, it is easy to make a signal appear to come from a totally
different direction to where the originating station is transmitting
from, the use of duplex signals ie. using what is commonly called an
"uplink" and a "down link" through an unmanned orbitter fitted up with
transmitters and receivers to do just that would make it appear that
the signal was indeed being transmitted from the direction of the
Moon, but the whole transcript could have been "uplinked" to a
satellite and rebroadcast on the "downlink" without a great deal of
effort, certainly much less effort than putting men up there. And we
all know it is not hard to fool your enemies into thinking you are
doing something that you are in fact not doing, or fool them into
thinking you are not doing something, when in fact you are. There are
mountains of books on the subject telling us how the allies "fooled"
the enemy or how they were "fooled" by the enemy, during the various
conflicts we have been involved in. "Hocus Pocus" , you bet, let's
shorten it down to "hoax".

THE MOON.


After such a quantum leap was achieved by NASA - ie. a string of
successful manned missions to the Lunar surface - it would have seemed
logical to go to the next step and build a "Moon Base" - the
advantages of such a project speak for themselves - think about the
instalation of a high power telescope on the Lunar surface - a
fantastically clear view of outer space - think about the benefits for
space communications - no need to operate high power UHF/VHF
communications - low power HF would have unhindered range with no
atmospheric or ionospheric problems.


A staging base on the Moon could be utilised to prepare space craft
for deep space exploration - removing the cumbersome protective
shielding needed to traverse Earths atmosphere at escape velocity -
storage facilities for the fuel to send vehicles far into outer space
- a shuttle service could be run between the Moon and Earth, taking
huge quantities of provisions and equipment to the "Moon Base" - teams
of scientists could be assembling space vehicles for probes to any
part of the Solar system or beyond without the inherent problems
associated with Earth launches.


WHY NO MOON BASE?

These are some of my reasons for thinking that a conspiracy to fool
the people of America and the World into thinking that the Apollo
program put men on the moon, is a real possibility, an elaborate hoax,
one that ensured funding for NASA toward it's ultimate goal of
building the Space Ark, and to gain a much needed edge during some
very worrying times, those of us who lived through those times know
just how bad they were in regard to the tension between east and west.

Consider what was and is at stake.

Many a fraud has been perpetrated for much less.

Could it be possible that the US pays huge sums to Russia as a "keep
it quiet" bonus, or just straight out "blackmail", seems funny how
much money is poured into Russia (direct aid and IMF loans) under the
banner of nation poverty, yet the Russians spend vast sums on military
weapons systems and the development of special weapons and tactics
designed to counter the weapons of it's "benefactor", very strange.


Believe it or not, but I say the possibility of a hoax and the
conspiracy to keep it under wraps, is real. It is up to the individual
to form their own opinion
