![]() --- quoting the Economist --- The shape of the universe Platonic truths Oct 9th 2003 From The Economist print edition Data from an American satellite suggest that the universe is a dodecahedron THERE are five Platonic solids of perfect symmetry. Three, the tetrahedron, octahedron and icosahedron, have triangular faces. A fourth, the cube, has square faces. The fifth, the dodecahedron, has pentagonal faces. Plato believed that the first four corresponded to the elements of which the Greeks thought the material world was composed: fire, air, water and earth. The dodecahedron, however, corresponded to quintessence, the element of the heavens. As Plato put it, “God used this solid for the whole universe, embroidering figures on it.” And if the arguments of a paper in this week's Nature stand up, Plato will have been proved right. For Jean-Pierre Luminet, of the Paris Observatory, and his colleagues believe that the universe is, indeed, a dodecahedron. They base their argument on data collected by the Wilkinson Microwave Anisotropy Probe (WMAP). This American satellite has been examining the microwave radiation generated shortly after the universe began. The wavelength of this radiation is remarkably pure, but like a musical note it has harmonics associated with it. These harmonics, like those of a note, reflect the shape of the object in which the waves were generated. In the case of the note, that object is a musical instrument. In the case of the microwave background, that object is the universe itself. The most widely accepted model of the universe suggests that it is both flat and infinite. In this case, flatness does not mean it is two-dimensional, but that the space of which it is composed has no large-scale curves in it. (Small curves induced by gravitational fields, and predicted by the theory of relativity, do exist.) WMAP's data are in close agreement with this model, but that agreement is not perfect. In particular, the second and third harmonics of the microwave radiation are weaker than expected. Dr Luminet's calculations suggest that this weakness can be explained if the universe is finite and dodecahedron-shaped. Of course, things are not quite that simple. Familiar dodecahedrons have an inside and an outside. What Dr Luminet is proposing is actually something called a dodecahedral space, first described by his countryman Jules-Henri Poincaré in the 19th century. Such a space has no boundary, even though it has a finite volume. But it is, quintessentially, a dodecahedron. One up to the Greeks. --- end quoting the Economist --- I do not know how I missed this report of a Cosmic dodecahedron. Today I read this subject is a contested issue. And it is good that the magazine ECONOMIST has progressive science. But I am not too surprized that the microwave background radiation would eventually steer away from the fake theories of Big Bang and end up supporting and validating the true theory of Atom Totality. You see, the cosmos cannot be a dodecahedron in the Big Bang. But the Cosmos is a structure in the Atom Totality theory and the 5f6 is what this microwave radiation is uncovering. Now I have many textbooks showing pictures of what the 5f6 electron dot pattern looks like. The book THE ELEMENTS BEYOND URANIUM by Seaborg and Loveland on page 73 shows the 5f6 in a dodecahedron pattern. On the Internet during the 1990s I often posted with a picture of the 5f6 as my signature block, and perhaps I should reinstate that picture into my signature block. 94th ELECTRON OF 231PU Very crude dot picture of 5f6, 94TH ELECTRON ::\ ::|:: /:: ::\::|::/:: _ _ (:Y ![]() - - ::/::|::\:: ::/ ::|:: \:: One of those dots is the Milky Way galaxy. The electron cloud dot picture is a picture of the night sky of galaxies. Look in a chemistry textbook or quantum physics textbook of the electron cloud dot picture. Of course I could only show 6 plane faces of the 12 plane faces of a dodecahedron. And my old front page of my old website www.archimedesplutonium.com had a huge picture of the 5f6 showing its 6 plane faces. This is great news. In the early years of 2000s was great news from Johns Hopkins Univ that the color of the Universe is a silver gray color matching the color of what the chemical element plutonium is. A silver gray color. Now we have news of the Microwave Radiation displaying a Cosmic Structure with the pattern of a dodecahedron. So I wonder if the scientists of Johns Hopkins and the scientists of the team in France of Dr Luminet can join together the color of the Universe with the shape of the Universe and declare that only the chemical element of Plutonium fits the description. Of course in year 1990 I saw that 231Pu explains the Inverse Fine Structure Constant as 137 neutrons and that only plutonium explains why pi is approx 22/7 and e is approx 19/7 because Pu has 22 subshells in 7 shells where only 19 subshells are occupied. So as time goes on, these Cosmic color and Cosmic structure pattern will not go away but become even more refined. What will disappear and be trashcanned is fake theory of Big Bang and black-holes and other present day exotica and fakery. Archimedes Plutonium www.iw.net/~a_plutonium whole entire Universe is just one big atom where dots of the electron-dot-cloud are galaxies |
