Default Vesta and Metis

Since finding asteroid Vesta on Monday i've been watching its slow
movement each night with 10x42 binoculars. It's like a secret little
friend in the sky. I happened to notice in SkyTools that asteroid
Metis is nearby. Last night using the TV76 it was an easy starhop a
field or two north to find little Metis. At mag 9.5 Metis is quite a
bit dimmer than Vesta but easily visible in the 3" scope. I was unable
to see it in the binoculars. On the 14th Metis will pass just south of
the nice double star 94 Aqr.
