Default Speaking of (or to) "The Beast"

The recent thread titled "The Beast" reminded me of a guy who used to
post regularly to SAA way back in the late 90's, who's online name was
"The Beast". His sig file (affectionately) said something akin to:
"When the stars are out at night, the Beast will come around and kick
over your scopes and stuff.". Does anyone know who was that masked man
behind "The Beast"? Beast, are you still out there?

My philosophy, in essence, is the concept of man as
a moral being, with his own happiness as the moral
purpose of his life, with productive achievement as
his noblest activity, and reason as his only absolute.

Ayn Rand (in the appendix to 'Atlas Shrugged')
