Default not a bad night....

First clear sky for ages tonight, although some thin high cloud about, and
another very bright moon... but got a good look at the m42 nebula and could
see 4 moons around Jupiter. Considering the conditions I thought I did
alright! Made a sketch of the moon locations to compare on another night.
I think my collimation is still out though - originally an out of focus star
was just a blurry spiky blob- now it is a more defined blob and I can see
the 4 spider legs, but the "hollow" bit of the doghnut is quite off centre
so more work needed...
James
