Short astronomy-related question, for research

I just have a quick question...I'm writing some sci-fi fiction and am
looking for some kind of a list of stars that might have the possibliity of
planets...is there some kind of website out there you guys could point me
towards? I know, I know, the possibility is very low, but hey, it's fiction,
right? Any help you all could give would be greatly appreciated, I hope
there's a site out there that's not super-complex, because I'm not real
familiar with this stuff(yet), though I want to be, it's awesome.
