Default Pronounciations: e.g. Pleiades

I wish there was a site somewhere where I could hear how to pronounce these
names correctly! - It was only last week I discovered that 'achromatic' was
pronounced with a short 'a' sound.

Anyway, any guidelines how to pronounce 'Pleiades'? - Is it "Plea - aids",
"Plea-a-des" or something else?

Thanks,
John.
