Default Question for Nikon 10x42SE (superior E) or 10x bino owner

I just looked at at California licence place with dark blue vehicle id
against white background with vivid red CA state name with this bino
at 20ft distance, and noticed that around the licence place alphabet
id (has no red border), there were some red (barely visible) around
the vehicle id alpabets. Is this normal for a 10x bino? Is this
chromatic abberation?

I don't have a chance to compare this bino to other top 10x bino, so I
ask.
