TV news on space exploration makes me cringe...

Default TV news on space exploration makes me cringe...

Why must they always (the comet probe being the latest victim)conclude their
often inaccurate news clips with phrases like:
"It could help us solve the secrets of the universe!" Or with some such
child-like cliche? This is almost as bad as when reporters try to ask
scientists questions off the cuff.
