Venus had an ocean on its surface. It is the force of the solar tide
which has slow down the Venus rotation

With the slowing down, the side toward the sun is became very hot. And
the ocean evaporated until to disapear

4 billions years ago, there were three planets ocean in the solar
system. Venus Mars and Earth

One on three, keeping of the Ocean on a planet, is not so easy
