Default Celestron tripod & wedge

I have the heavy-duty tripod that now ships with the 8" NexStarGPS. I
would like to use the threaded holes to fasten a heavy-duty wedge
(from a 11" NexStarGPS) to the tripod.

Does anyone know what size the threaded holes and are threads course
(sp) or fine?

Thank you very much.

Kevin
