Default Aurora in Upstate NY

Last night here in Binghamton NY there was a persistent auroral glow in
the north. It was fairly bright but almost featureless with only a few
weak rays, arches, and other forms. The early color was a faint,
curious bluish, eventually changing into dim reds and greens only
apparent in digital photos. Alas, I missed quite a bit of the display
because of clouds.
