Default DIY: velvet or velour inside SCT tube

Anyone been contrast-enhancing their SCT by adding velvet or velour on the
inside (naturally)
of their SCT tube ?
Experiencing any problems ?
How about disassembling the SCT, f.i .the correctorplate ?
