Default curvature of old rocks

If there are old rocks that have not gone through much
compression, and they were layered horizontally when
formed, then one might be able to measure the curvature
of these layers. If the Earth was smaller, then the
curvature would be greater. Thus we would expect to find
a lot of old rocks with a similar curvature. And thus the
diameter of the Earth.

Good one, Mo. ... We'll add it to the list for when this lot gets back
from the boozer, ..see if it gives them any ideas. (Gee, ..dip and
strike, ..they will not like this one little bit.)

Do you have a geological background by any chance?

Email me your photograph, preferably on a plain background. I'll Google
Images for "roadcut", find a nice one, and Photoshop you in. Then yo'll
have a geological background that will qualify you for any discussion of
Expanding Earth.

And when it proved there was no 'expaning earth' you would just to the
same thing, ignore it or lie about it.

Unfortunately there have always been people like donfindlay who, once
they have decided for themselves exactly how the world *should be*,
will rationalize away or ignore any evidence to the contrary. They
'know' what they 'know' and will not be distracted by the facts.

These willfully ineducable people are a waste of skin, suitable only
for bait when trolling for alligators. Any other attention paid to
them is likewise wasted.
