Default Fire in the area of Lowell Observatory

Sounds like there is some risk for Lowell Observatory with current fires in
the area. Hope nothing bad happens.

It was close. Here's an account by Brian Skiff, who has worked on Mars
Hill for nearly 30 years.

Luckily, the local news down in Phoenix had a handle on it. Our local
NBC feed elected to do a sort of picture-in-picture approach, with less
than one-third of the screen occupied by the Stanley Cup Final game in
which the puck was invisible, while they rehashed the same information
repeatedly for nearly two periods of play.
