Default NASA Photo of Challenger landing at Edwards AFB on 2/06/90

From NASA Nix here's an interesting photo.

Photo Title:

"LDEF: Space Shuttle Challenger Landing at Edwards AFB, Calif.
at End of Mission.
NASA Langley Research Center 2/6/1990 Image # EL-1994-00718"

Now I'm going to sit back and wait for some Columbia landing pictures
from 2006.

Have the black helicopters started hovering over your house yet, Rusty?

Nothing mysterious here. The photo shows the landing of mission
STS-41C after deploying the LDEF in 1984. The 1990 date is probably
the year Langley scanned the photo and put it online, or the year it
was added to the Langley photo library.

It wouldn't make any sense at all to put that date on the photo. They just
stuffed up.
