Default Pete Lawrence on Sky at Night!

Well, one of his great Venus Jupiter conjunction pictures. Just saw it a
second ago. Congratulations Peter!

My family were rather bemused by me shouting out 'I know him!', which of
course I don't . The name certainly seemed to be popping up at frequent
intervals - I couldn't concentrate on the programme

Back in 1965, or so, Patrick showed one of my lunar eclipse pictures on his
program. He had visited our school and chatted to me and two friends about
the school's astronomical society. I thought that I might try sending in some
of my more recent pictures for possible showing but it is not clear to me how
we submit them. There doesn't appear to be an e-mail address. Surely they
don't expect us to actually print and post something like we had to do in the
1960s?

regards

Lawrence Harris

and congrats to Pete and the others.

You have to be "on Jane's list". If you have something interesting try
emailing the producer Jane
Fletcher at the BBC (you can guess the address!)

BTW did you spot my V838 Mon sequence - shown just as they were saying it
was beyond the reach of amateurs!
