I was just wondering was the current status of all this "buy land on the
moon" rubbish is. Amazon appear to be selling some, which worries me... Is it still a hoax or is it legal now? Just for a laugh, consider this: 1. Does the Moon have it's own laws? Absolutely. Mr. Hope, whom we call the absolute and final omnipotent ruler of the entire Lunar surface, or, The Head Cheese , for short, has drafted and introduced a Lunar Constitution and Bill of Rights for the Moon. Back where the US landed men on the moon, there was a deal signed in the UN that
said No Nation can claim the moon as it's own. But what they didn't figure on was some con man seeing the loophole that does NOT say a PERSON can't claim the moon. That's what the guy did, he's sent papers to the major members of the UN saying that HE OWNS the moon and now he's selling one ac sites of the moon. Someday, some years down the road, it's going to make for some royal court battles. Just as long as they remember that I own the Andomeda Galaxy, they're ok. -- "In this universe the night was falling, the shadows were lengthening towards an east that would not know another dawn. I seriously hope this is bull**** (or horse****). There is no way I
would ever be forced to use names in a paper when I get to writing any. If it is that the people own the name of the star then it's not too bad. It would just be rubbish to say that someone actually owns the star. How low has the human race fallen... After spoiling earth with money, it's moved on to space... Actually, I own this universe and associated parallel universes and I will soon introduce an IUT (Interstellar and interuniversal tax) so you have been warned. And if you don't pay your rent I'll kick you out into the interuniversal void. If people are really buying pieces of the moon then who's with me for an invasion of the moon? We need to remove the omnipotent dictator Hope... Tom In article , "Chuck Taylor" wrote: "Tom Randy" wrote in message ... On Sat, 13 Dec 2003 12:59:02 -0500, Tom wrote: It's horse****. I have just had a quick look on internet and the thing about selling
stars in actually only registering the name of the star, not buying the star. Whereas for the moon thing, they are actually selling land on it... However, all attempts in the past (Alexander the Great, Julius Caesar, Napoleon, Adolph Hitler, etc.) have been pretty much unsuccessful. You would need a LOT of money (not to mention technology) to kick all of us dissenters into the "interuniversal void." |
