Default ETX-90: balance with camera

Hi,
I have the ETX-90. When I attach my Canon 10D, it is not balanced and the camera pulls
the scope down. Is there any adapter available that will help balance this combination?

Thanks,

You can try attaching ankle weights or similar to the opposite end of the
tube (near the front). Add small amounts of weight until the tube no longer
falls.

Yes, get a bigger or better telescope, since you can afford a 10D and hang
it on the ETX .

The problem is that after paying for the 10D and stuff, not much left in the piggybank.

I got the Canon 300D for $800, very nice camera. If I were you, get a
cheaper EQ mount /w clock drive, like the orion EQ-I or II and attach any
OTA to it. On an EQ mount, you can ballance out the scope easy. For short
exposers even a cheaper EQ would work perfect. I think the 10D is too heavy
for the ETX, plus the ETX's plastic gears are too crapy under load.
