![]() Jim Oberg will be speaking on two spaceflight topics at the University of North Texas, Denton, Texas, on Monday, October 27. His free public lecture on "The Columbia Disaster -- What Broke, and What Needs Fixing", is at 7:30pm in the McConnell Hall's "Mac Cafe" room. Directions to UNT - http://www.unt.edu/pais/map/M_directions.htm Campus Map - http://www.unt.edu/pais/map/campusmap.htm At 5:00 PM he is meeting with the students of the Texas Academy of Math and Science to discuss "Lessons of the 'Moon Hoax' Myth". This is specifically for TAMS students, but a limited number of guests are permitted if you contact Oberg directly. This one-hour talk will be in the Biology Building, Room 117. It's about a 2 to 5 minute walk east from McConnell Hall (just past Bruce Hall). Oberg (www.jamesoberg.com) will have his books for sale in both locations. |
