Since I'm headed to Jacksonville in Mar to visit my relatives, I
thought I'd try to see STS-117 launch as well. What is the earliest date that the launch date can be reasonably considered to be cast in a substance firm enough to reasonably plan around? D. -- Touch-twice life. Eat. Drink. Laugh. -Resolved: To be more temperate in my postings. Oct 5th, 2004 JDL |

The Flight Readiness Review would certainly be a solid milestone, but it may be too close to the luanch date to give adequate trip planning time. /dps |

Actually - if I know early enough, slipping to May isn't a problem because I can simply reschedule my trip. Slipping a few days is disastrous because we simply have to be back home on the 18th, as my Lady Wife has to get payroll out on the 20th. (And my mom is planning a big family get-together on the 17th for St. Patricks.) The Flight Readiness Review would certainly be a solid milestone, but it may be too close to the luanch date to give adequate trip planning time. Yah. I really need to commit to travel dates around T-30 (to my departure) in order for my Lady to firm up her work schedule and various relative to schedule time off etc... D. -- Touch-twice life. Eat. By the way, either Chris Bergin at NASASpaceflight.com is seriously confused, or NASA swapped Orbiters for STS-122. They've had two news stories in the last few days that both imply Endeavour is flying STS-122 in October/November, not Discovery. http://www.nasaspaceflight.com/content/?cid=5002 Was there a change?
