Default Baader Solar Filter material

Where does one order a small sheet of Baader
solar filter material? I have a broken Type 2 or 3 1000 oaks 90mm that I
can salvage by placing Baader in it rather than glass. I removed the broken
glass and have the O-ring too.

Mike,

Post an ad on Astromart. I used rubber bands to attach the mylar
material around my lens and made sure that the portion of the mylar over
the lens' field of view was smooth.

Anthony.

I think I am right in saying that the film should be smooth, but NOT put
under any significant tension. It certainly shouldn't be anything like
drum-taut.
This is how I made my filter

Not relevant to you since you have the remnants of the 1000Oaks to work
with, but the principles are similar.

I bought mine in UK from David Hinds .
