I'm looking for diagrams of high-power (hudreds of kW is good,
multi-megawatt is better) *modern* space nuclear power reactors. Don't need to be high detail, but I need something that I can use for getting in the ballpark on dimensions, shapes, etc. Print references are good, links are better, scans are best. Any help would be appreciated. -- Scott Lowther, Engineer Remove the obvious (capitalized) anti-spam gibberish from the reply-to e-mail address |

Okay, would you believe Hugo Drax and another crew of genetically perfect humans? How about three CHAOS agents with a plan to corner the Lunar cheese market? Pat |

Pat, of anyone on here who might reasonably be planning world domination, Scott's high on the shortlist ;-) -- -Andrew Gray |

I assume you're already familiar with; http://gif.inel.gov/roadmap/pdfs/006..._syst ems.pdf and http://gif.inel.gov/roadmap/pdfs/018...ems_report.pdf http://www3.inspi.ufl.edu/ICAPP/prog...racts/1159.pdf or here if you're willing to pass some lettuce ;-) http://topics.aip.org/2850K_FS.html of course these are mostly NTR (focused) concepts, if you're just looking for power sources, which is silly, IMO, I have some more relevant sites. ;-) |
