Default Delta 4-Heavy exposed - service tower rolled back

Spaceflight Now has pictures of the Delta 4-Heavy
launch vehicle standing alone with the service
tower rolled back.

thanks for posting these updates -- it's a nice looking bird.

Without its upper stages, the forshortened appearance kind of reminds me of
the Vostok launcher...

Anyone know if there's a reason why the outer tail-service masts (I assume
that's what they are) are grey, and not white like the center ones? Since
they've been there (unused) for the previous launches, it's not as though
they need to be refurbished differently...

They haven't had their protective layer of ablative applied yet. Evidently,
Boeing didn't feel it was needed for the single-CBC vehicles.

That is extremely cool! Thank you. And I may become a
"spaceflightnow" reader now that I know about it.
