The pattern is "drag your fingertips across the keyboard." No finite
sequence of characters can be truely random, save in the information
theory sense of how much encoding is required to reproduce it.

Well, for sure, but this is the sense in which the word "random" is
commonly used, regarding observed patterns (all observed patterns are
finite), even by those who never heard about information theory.
