Default How to solve these ETX problems please?

Hello.

1 - I have an ETX first version and all of a sudden it does not respond
when the on/off switch is used. Is it a battery problem? If so which
kind od battery does it use and how to change it please?

2 - Although I know hoe to where this small wonder where could I
download its manual please?

1. The ETX Astro Telescope is driven by a DC electronic motor control
system, powered by three AA-size batteries located inside the telescope's
drive base
