Sir Patrick is on good form

Hi all,

I spent several hours with Patrick last evening and can report that
he's on really good form. He seems much more alert and comfortable
than he has been over the past months. The operation has had a really
positive effect on him.

He sends his best wishes to all.

Possibly a Highland Park 12yo. Quite a light, inoffensive dram.

Or a Dalwhinnie 15yo. For some reaon I don't have Sir P. down as a
Laphroaig man, but I could be wrong.

For my money, I think a convalescence on Islay has a lot going for it. A
total of seven distilleries, and another on Jura...
Pity it is such a cold time of the year though.

I've a rather nice cask conditioned single malt which comes rarely (it's
58.5% abv) - I may be tempted with one later. Highland Parks not so bad
either ;-)

Out of interest (and I apologise for continuing to post off-topic) which
one is it? I have a few cask strengths, mostly from Edradour but also
an Ardbeg, a Laphroaig and an Aberlour.

Glenallachie, 16 yr old, and it's 57.5% not 58.5% now I've checked. It's
very very smooth.
