Tonight I also set up old SD4, I wanted to try out some EP's on the both
scopes. Found out one thing, When viewing with the 4.8 neggler, I've got to wait for the object to get high in the sky and also to let that EP cool down too, otherwise, I don't get a good view with it. I tried Saturn when it was about 30 degrrs up, couldn't get a clear image. Just a few mins ago, with Saturn almost overhead and the EP at or near the 35F outside, I tied it with both scopes, got the best image with the 10incher, on the SG4, I found out one trouble I had with it, I couldn't keep it on a subject without tieing it down a lot and because of the extra weight at the rear, can't use it in the dob hole, but I did get a soso image with it. lots better with a 10mm in it and the 17mm one too.
