Default Can Man Escape to the Stars?

"MAN WILL SPREAD HIS SEED ACROSS A MILLION STARS"

"Let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven..."

And:

"Man will spread his seed across a million stars, and thus proclaim himself
immortal."

This lie is sold to children through "science fiction," and to adults through
"speculative Science." This speculation of Science is that we can build a
space station, then establish a colony on the moon, and from there to Mars and
thus to the stars.

Quote:
"A planet wide cataclysm, natural or manmade,
could destroy the entire human race. But space
flight allows us to detach the fate of the human
race from that of the planet."

and:

"We will have fled to another part of the galaxy." Jastro.
End quote.

So today we see the same lie as told to the people of Babel, when they first
attempted to built a tower to the heavens. But today, rather than reach into
heaven with a tower of brick and mud, man is attempting to reach into the
heavens with towers of fire and thunder.

But, as God confounded that first attempt, so has He made this last attempt
futile.

The "powers that be," that is, the governments who have the power and
resources to reach into heaven, have discovered that they cannot.

How?
First is the power required; the force needed to lift man and all he needs to
exist into space is more (Oh, it's close) than can be generated.

Oh! It's close! Yes, they can build a rocket ship that can reach the moon with
a few men; but they cannot carry with them more than enough supplies to remain
alive for a few weeks. More and more rockets are demanded for more and more
men, until there must be a rocket every day for as long as many men as are
needed to build the colony remain alive there. But there is no power source
there that can sustain them, and so without daily support the colony will die.
(Yes, I know it is arguable, but not doable, and that's my point.)

Second: the physical inability for men to survive away from the source of
gravity in which they were born. Men in space may survive for a year, or a
little longer. But men cannot survive and remain productive long enough to
reach Mars--and live.

So God has made it impossible for man to reach into the heavens. Man can not
and will not "spread his seed across a million stars, and thus proclaim
himself immortal..." and the governments of the US, EU and Russia know this,
even if Japan and China do not.

Why do they continue to build these useless and futile space ships?

Because they must "manage the news" and they cannot admit to their people that
there is no escape from the Earth they have poisoned.

For another thing, they have built large interdependent business and agencies
which employ thousands, and to admit the impossibility would mean these people
would suddenly become unemployed, and the economic impact would be disaster.

So the governments and agencies who know the truth continue to hide it while
they try frantically to find a way out of the trap they have fallen into...

But there is no escape.

Oh... the ostrich solution.. ;-)

LOL

Sure, I'd love to be listed in your kill file, means I won't have to converse
with a close minded nut.

thanx.

I just knew that your GAWD was buried in this tale somewhere. If it were up
to you fundies, we'd still be living in caves for the sole purpose of
serving this non-existing GAWD.

I wish I could go back in time and tell Columbus that the same trip he made
so long ago and which took several months, can be made today in about 2
hours, with absolutely no wind billowing the sails, no less.

Why do they continue to build these useless and futile space ships?

For the same reason man has expanded into unknown territory since time
immemorial, and for the same reasons.

snip the rest of this drivel

We will leave the Earth. We will establish colonies and grow our own food
there. We will become accustomed, within a few generations, to the gravity
and atmospheric conditions (which we may have to alter). Human life is far
more adaptable than most people think. We just have to get GAWD out of the
equation. Not only will that make people think rationally, it will also
free up a lot of presently bible-cluttered brain space, to be used for new
solutions to new problems.

Lastly, we will find that we are not the only ones in the Universe.
Predictions are that will happen within the next 25 years, with the result
of finally debunking the "Creation" myth once and for all.

If I'm still alive, my bags are packed and ready. The Fundies will inherit
the Earth and will become the muddled Europukes of the Galaxy. The Bold and
Daring, unshackled by GAWD and Jebus lies and propaganda, will move on to
bigger and better challenges and ultimately become the Gods on a yet
uninhabited planet in a distant Solar System.

Say, Hagar, is that copyrighted yet? Let's do a soap opera about it!
