Default Celestron CGE mount question

It appears that the Celestron CGE mount uses the same dimensions for
counterweight shaft and toe saver as the Losmandy mounts (1.25"
diameter, 3/8"-16 threads). At least one person with a Celestron CGE
tells me that the shaft is 1.24" diameter. Does anyone with a Celestron
CGE and a micrometer feel like telling me what numbers they are seeing?

I build a product that fits the Losmandy mounts (at
http://www.scoperoller.com/#QuickReleaseLM)--and it looks like it might
fit the Celestron CGE as well. But if the CGE actually uses a 1.24"
diameter counterweight shaft, I am going to have to make these a few
thousandths smaller.

My Brown & Sharpe calipers measure the CGE counterweight shaft to be
1.245" dia.
