Astronomy Toolbar for Internet Explorer and Firefox

There's now a version of the Astronomy Toolbar available for Firefox
(following requests!)

The Firefox version is available directly from:
http://www.nightskyobserver.com/Astr...r/install.html

The version for Internet Explorer is at:
http://www.nightskyobserver.com/Astr...r/AstroBar.exe

No idea if you're genuine or not, but almost all the links on the left
of your website are broken, and there's much too much advertising
elsewhere for my liking. Do you really need to use an add referral url
for a link to S&T's website? I'm suspicious of such sites.

Yup. I'm genuine! :-) Thanks for pointing out about the broken menu
links. This only happened in Firefox (IE was ok) and I've fixed it now.
Advertising helps pay the hosting biil.

I appears to be geniune, but it also reset my default start page without
my permission. If for no other reason, that was sufficient for me to
uninstall it without exploring it any further.

Len, it doesn't reset your start page. Sometimes, following
installation, Firefox opens up on the toolbar webpage the first time
it's opened after the toolbar is installed (might have something to do
with completing toolbar installation). Subsequent opening of Firefox
will open on your default home page.

I certainly haven't had my homepage altered by intstalling the toolbar
during testing (and I changed homepage a couple of times to verify no
reset was occurring). If you're willing to try the toolbar again, and
you find that your homepage is being reset, let me know what page it's
pointing to.

Well, after installing the extension I restarted FF and that's where it
defaulted. I didn't try again. Does it have functionality beyond simply
linking to various webpages?

It has the usual Google Search box and shows the latest news headline.
Links are provided to news sites, weather info, audio/video resources,
podcasts, etc.

If anyone knows of good resources to include in future updates, let me
know.

JupSat Pro also available from his website www.nightskyobserver.com.
