The EU in a hissy fit, along with Iraq, China, Libya, and every other
****-country in the world says they will destroy the internet if they are
not put in complete control of things.

Anyone who thinks they will be safe from this type of government sanctioned
terrorism, on the grounds they are not Chinese citizens, will be in for a
rude awakening. I can just see the headlines that may pop up in a year if
the USA acquiesces to these bums demands to give up the internet:

hey... well.. that was a great article and a dive into the future(and
how bleak it can be) if it goes that way u put.And although i am not an
american i share the concerns as i feel america is the only country
capable of keeping the internet alive....bravo!!!

I know, I know, it upset me too hearing about the attempt to
take over or turn over the internet to the UN but at ease Officer
Greysky, calm down. We Yankees profoundly invent or Yankee ingenuity
make better and the rest copy or try to take over what else is new?
Because of the China trade deficit they're more then likely going around
to see what they can market influence and pick up for a bargain. Oh the
humanity, politicians selling out to special interest groups without
regard to what's at stake. Now you know the initiative to ascertain a
net reported Sean Race Darla Starship to hopefully get above the petty
political fracas and on to more advanced race positive scientific
exploration.

I have issued an Indy Base One Priority One call to Darla and Star Race
but have not receive an answer yet. I'm glad you posted Officer Greysky
for I may need your expect comm. help again with the Earth net helm
while we still have control of it. See if you can once again adjust
those FTL great buffers of yours so that my call can hopefully finally
get LY through all the normal space background static to Star Race. I
need to find out what their present mission status is, hopeful location,

This is just another example of people in political power all over the
world that don't have a clue about how anything technical, including
the internet, works. The way I understand it, most of these countries
that are supposedly complaining are already censoring the hell out of
internet access in their own countries anyway.
