Hello, I have a Celestron NexStar 8i, and have been pretty much pleased with
it. Certainly worth the money I paid for it. Only complaint I have is backlash. This makes it difficult to do imaging sometimes. Its possible, but its just a pain sometimes. My question is, does the new CPC series, specifically the 8 inch, have a drive where you don't have to worry about backlash? Is the tracking suppose to be superior to the 8i? I would love to have a scope w/o backlash and I hope the CPC would be it. Thanks! |
