The YEC's are hardly "clueless" and there are many fine scientists among
our ranks (although I am not one of them). From what I can see, it is
usually the evolutionists who are clueless. They come out with fancy ideas
about how this or that happened so many millions or billions of years ago,
but can't produce a shred of evidence to support their (atheistic)
philosophy. They can't even overcome such riddles as how to account for all
amino acids that make up life being left-handed (and that's just one of the
many hurdles that they cannot overcome). They are now getting so desperate
to come up with something that they are proposing that life must have
started out in space somewhere and magically found its way to earth. It's
amazing how they can on the one hand sign up to a SETI project, deperately
looking for signs of intelligently-coded signals coming from space (none
has been found) and yet if they look through their microscopes at the
incredible complexity of life, they say it all came about by chance. What
utter nonsense. If it weren't so serious (from the potential lost souls
going to hell point of view) it would be laughable. I pray that God will
open minds so that those who think they are wise do not remain "ever
learning but never able to come to a knowledge of the truth" 2 Timothy Ch 3

There is no such thing as an "evolutionist" outside the dishonesty of
creationists who try to turn the acceptance of reality and science's
investigated, tested and predictive explanations for it, into an -ism.

What "atheistic philosophy", liar?

You know perfectly well that even in the educationally backward USA,
about four times as many Christians as atheists accept the facts known
as evolution.

## And the fundies can't produce a shred of evidence to support their
(superstitious) philosophy of some grand "creation" by some magical mythical
all powerful being who can't even write his own bible (book).

They can't even overcome such riddles as how to account for all
amino acids that make up life being left-handed (and that's just one of

the

## And how have the bible thumpers overcome this riddle? Start with the
first amino acid please leaving out the magical and mystical.

They are now getting so desperate
to come up with something that they are proposing that life must have
started out in space somewhere and magically found its way to earth.

## Whereas the fundies believe some fantastical sky daddy came along and
simply "created" it all from nothing.....

It's

## Ands you say it all came about by some magical "creation" by a being who
cannot write his/her/it's own bible (book).

What
utter nonsense.

Well, you just answered my previous question. You haven't studied any of the
sciences in any kind of detail, have you?

If you had, you would understand that there is a great deal of evidence to
support the evolutionary viewpoint in science. It is not the work of
fanciful imagination. There is a great deal of evidence as to uniformitarian
processes in the past, and much evidence of a very long age for the earth
and longer for the universe.

Furthermore, if you were an honest creationist, you would be willing to note
that an evolutionary viewpoint in science is not necessarily an atheistic
one. There are many scientists who believe in God. Many Christians in the
sciences see no difficulty with their faith and with their science.

They can't even overcome such riddles as how to account for all
amino acids that make up life being left-handed (and that's just one of

the
many hurdles that they cannot overcome).

Oh dear. Do you even know what that means? Or did you just crib that out of
a creationist web site?

Tell you what. Why don't *you* present us with some of *your* research on
that topic, just so that we can see you've got your chemistry right.

But in any case, that difficulty for abiogenesis has nothing to do with the
evolution of life that already exists.

They are now getting so desperate
to come up with something that they are proposing that life must have
started out in space somewhere and magically found its way to earth. It's
amazing how they can on the one hand sign up to a SETI project, deperately

Sigh. You really don't have a clue.

Brian, let me urge you to go to your local community college and sign up for
some science courses. Take them with an open mind. I am not asking you to
believe evolution. I am asking you to try to learn the *science* itself so
that you can understand why we say what we do.

You are completely mixed up from those anti-science sites. You have no idea
what science teaches, or why we have come to the conclusions we have.

Go. Read. Take the courses. Learn. And come back and talk.

Regards,

Raymond E. Griffith

Oh, gee. There goes another shipment of irony meters.

Grendel, here's a free clue - we're talking about science, not the
fantasies and misrepresentations on the AIG site.

http://www.answersingenesis.org/docs2005/0112quasar.asp

Ummm, how would this quasar be determined to be in the galaxy? The only
means we have of determining distance is red shift. The red shift
indicates that the quasar is much farther away than the galaxy is. So
therefore, all that can be said is that there's a quasar "behind" the
galaxy. Absent proof of the invalidity of Hubble's Law, the appearance
that the quasar is interacting with matter in the galaxy is merely an
appearance, probably explainable by something else entirely. Much as the
redshift indicates that its location in a galaxy is an appearance. This,
then, is about on a par with the rest of the utter ****e
to be found at AIG. There's also this problem that you fundys never seem
to be able to get your minds around, that one anomaly doesn't
necessarily kill an entire theory.
