Shooting star?

Today when i was looking at orion i took some pictures. On one of the
pictures i saw something strange.. But it is only visible when i change the
curves of the photo... It's just below orions belt and i don't know what it
is... Is it a shooting star? It's nothing on the lens because it's the only
picture where i can see such a thing so can anybody tell something about it?

It probably could be lots things.... shooting star, satelite, plane,small
comet or asteroid
scratch, hair, ufo 8-)

I don't think it's a scratch or hair because i took a few photo's in about
10 minutes without touching the camera and that's the only photo that shows
something like that.

Was it digital or film?

Also, things like hair/dust can be illuminated though chances are they will
be less focused.

It was digital: Nikon D100 (6megapixels and a 300mm lens)

then you can scratch out scratch possibility

Very likely a shooting star. I see them quite often in 30 second exposures, and
even through the eyepiece.

Looks to me like a satellite trail.

It's certainly not a meteor.

that.

I've never seen a meteor trace out a line of uniform brightness and
thickness on any exposure.
