There were 3024 pictures taken with 4 cameras during the 1st mission landing at
the surface. And yet Apollo inventory for lander pics shows only enough film for 1900 shots. There you have it, folks! Proof! Also: We never went to the moon, because the thrusters would melt the cheese and the lander would sink. Capt. RB |

At the temparatures of the thrusters and for the time it would actually cause a what is known as the "gratinee" effect, forming a more durable surface. |
